We are seeking a super-duper VAT specialist to join our VAT & Tax Team at Oury Clark.
Someone who is hands on. Happy to help build the VAT dept. 
Happy to do advice and compliance work. Working alongside a hilarious good fun team. Who take their jobs seriously, not themselves.
The clients are from a broad range of sizes and complexities. You will certainly never be bored, and be able to enjoy the great culture of Oury Clark.
 
Required qualifications. 
Ideally 4 years UK VAT experience 
Either in General Practice or having worked at HMRC VAT Training.

We would love to support you become the best you can be, so are delighted to help you study as a professional, and would encourage and support you doing your CTA exams. 
 
Role
VAT Compliance: Carrying out High level of VAT reviews to maintain quality control.
VAT Planning: Develop and implement effective VAT planning strategies to optimise clients' tax positions, minimise VAT liabilities, and enhance cash flow.
Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on complex VAT matters, including cross-border transactions, VAT implications of business decisions.
Audits and Investigations: Assist clients in preparing for and managing VAT audits, as well as handling VAT investigations by HMRC.
Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with changing VAT regulations and perform thorough research and analysis to interpret and communicate the impact of these changes on clients' businesses.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored VAT solutions.
Training: Provide training and workshops to clients and internal teams on VAT-related matters to enhance understanding and compliance.
