Vehicle Cost Analyst/Controller

£35ph (Umbrella)

Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an Cost Analyst experienced to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Experience of project management & leading cross functional teams
• Ability to identify and develop process improvement opportunities
• Knowledge of power query (Excel)
• Tableau (some experience beneficial)
• An understanding of vehicle components, systems and the vehicle development processes is desirable but not essential

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare and agree detailed activity plans, then conduct the activity
• Identify and gather the required information from both local and global sources
• Prepare and publish cost reports daily, weekly and in line with project milestones
• Liaise with engineers, buyers, and manufacturing plants
• Validate the quality and completeness of data
• Highlight irregularities and gaps in the data and identify the required remedial action
• Identify and escalate problems appropriately
