Salary: £36,000 p/a

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm

Igloo are recruiting for a Vehicle Diagnostics Technician to work for one of UK s fastest growing, independently owned Used Car Supermarket, who have vast experience and knowledge within the industry and a great selection of used cars to suit every need and budget, our client is all about keeping customers happy by offering an excellent personal service.

The successful candidate will work in a busy preparation centre working with and alongside a variety of specialist teams. The preparation centres process over a 1000 vehicle s a month and services 8 Stores around the UK.

The Role:

• Carry out routine service works as per given guidelines.
• Provide regular work status updates.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
• Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out.
• Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI's, service reports).
• Accurately complete job cards and DISS reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed.

• A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best.
• Communication with production leader to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles.
• Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality.
• Qualified to a minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand.
