Are you a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic in the Bournemouth area? I have 3 clients in the Bournemouth area who are seeking Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic to join them.
As a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining multiple makes and models of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any potential problems
- Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding work progress and any issues encountered
Experience essential for this role:
- Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic, ideally within a fast fit environment or main dealership
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle maintenance
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are desirable
- MOT certificate is an advantage
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
