Our client is expanding and is seeking someone like you to join their workshop team.
As the business continues to thrive, they are on the lookout for a dedicated Vehicle Technician. They welcome candidates from various automotive backgrounds, whether you've worked in an independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer.
If you have experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, or Auto Electrician, they want to hear from you!
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum requirements include holding or working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• While an Electric and Hybrid Vehicle qualification is advantageous, it's not essential as full training will be provided
• Experience with Ford IDS and GFDRS is desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate
• An MOT Licence is beneficial but not essential
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential
What will your role look like?
• You will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and diagnostics of a wide range of vehicles in the workshop. From electrical and mechanical repairs to timing belts/chains, suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, clutches, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing, your role will be diverse and challenging
• In addition to traditional vehicle maintenance, you may be involved in repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, utilising electronic diagnostic equipment and focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems
• You'll play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with manufacturer and brand standards
• As the business moves towards digital processes, you'll be equipped with a tablet for streamlined operations
