Vendor Manager

Are you a Vendor Manager looking for a contract opportunity?

This is an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Vendor Manager with a strong background in IT to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will require a strategic thinker who can balance the needs of the organisation with the requirements of outsourcing and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support the organisation's IT objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with EC regulatory requirements.
• Establish framework contracts.
• Lead the development of formal tender packs and manage the tender process.
• Collaborate with the wider Information Systems (IS) team to align vendor management activities with IT strategies and initiatives.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership in vendor management
• Lead and mentor a team of vendor management professionals

Job Details:

Determination: Inside IR35

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: 9 Months (likely to extend)

This opportunity will be working for a UK leading utilities organisation and will be looking for someone to be on site twice a week.
