This is an exciting opportunity to get stuck into the thick of the Fringe. See amazing shows and soak up the atmosphere all while being paid!
We are recruiting for Venue staff in a variety of customer facing roles. So no two days need to be the same. Flexible hours from total immersion to dipping a toe.
The Job:
Job Title: Venue Staff/Front of House Staff
Based at: The Stand Comedy Club/ Stand 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (York place)
Salt N’ Sauce Promotions, 5 York Place, Edinburgh, EH1 3EB
Responsible for: assisting with the smooth running of the bar, door, shows
Reports to: Venue Manager/Assistant Venue Managers/ Duty Managers
Main Purpose of Job:
To promote high standards of professional practice which are conducive to providing excellent service for performers and customers.
Ensure that standards are maintained, and in-house procedures and policies are followed.
Feedback issues and complaints to the Venue Managers to ensure we continue to
Key Accountabilities
· Ensuring all aspects of the venue are kept clean and are set up appropriately.
· Providing all customers with excellent service.
· Ensure the smooth running of the shows and events with your managers.
· Keeping abreast of infectious disease regulations and remaining adaptable and flexible to ongoing changes.
· Being an ambassador for the Company at all times.
Between 20 -40+ hours a week
Must Have Requirements: At least 12 months relevant experience with the public in sales or front of house
Hourly rate of pay Start at £12:50 dependant on your role and job description.
