Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £10.53 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Both Full-time and Part-time considered.
Location: End Cottage Vets, Howden
Shifts: Weekdays 08:00-15:00hrs or 12:30-19:30hrs as per rota.
Saturdays 08:00-13:00hrs or 08:00-14:30 on a 1:3 rota.
End Cottage Vets are looking for a caring, organised, motivated individual to join our fantastic front of house admin team!
Often the first point of contact with our clients, a Receptionists position is one of the most important within the practice, requiring efficiency, empathy and professionalism in equal measures.
Roles and Responsibilities
Welcoming clients and visitors to End Cottage in a friendly approachable manner.
Answering telephone calls, conveying messages and providing customer care advice.
Booking appointments, processing information and requests using our Practice Management System thus ensuring correct patient records are available for the clinical team.
Administration of prescription requests for internal and external pharmacies.
Process payments, generate invoices and receipts, liaising with the clinical team to ensure correct charging.
Maintain a clean, tidy reception area that is welcoming and fully stocked.
Required Experience
Reception or Client Care experience
Able to work independently
