Veterinary Receptionist
Island VetCare are looking to recruit two new receptionists to join our friendly front of house team.
Our ideal candidate must have:
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and be able to multi-task in a busy environment
- Excellent numeracy and literary skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office
Duties will include the following tasks and more:
- Answering the telephone and dealing with incoming emails
- Registering new clients, new pet and booking appointments
- Keeping reception and communal areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Restocking and cleaning consultation rooms
- Dealing with financial transactions, end of day cashing up
- Ensuring smooth, accurate communication between the practice and clients
Post 1 is 29 hours per week (with 2 unpaid half hour breaks for lunch where needed)
Post 2 is 32 hours per week (with 3 unpaid half hour breaks for lunch where needed)
Hours to be agreed but will include Saturday morning on a rota basis. You will need to be flexible to cover your colleagues during holidays or sickness at short notice. Hourly rate starts at £10.42
