Veterinary Surgeon
Cherry Tree Vets, High Wycombe
Salary up to £68,000 depending on experience plus a welcome bonus up to £3,000 and relocation allowance up to £4,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team here at Cherry Tree Vets!
We are looking for a full time/part time Veterinary Surgeon to join three other highly experienced vets at a small village practice. The role would be over 4 days a week with a share of a 1:4 weekend rota (Saturdays only 8:30am -4pm) with no out of hours or bank holidays. We encourage and support flexible working wherever we can and are in a fortunate position that we could offer lots of support for a new/recent graduate.
About Us
Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice is a small, village practice located in picturesque Lane End, near High Wycombe. We have been established over 10 years and we are extremely fortunate to have strong relationships with all of our lovely clients and their pets. We have all the usual equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and internal laboratory and our vets enjoy working up their cases to a very high standard.
About the Team and Culture
We currently have 3 Veterinary Surgeons that all have over 10 years' experience in small animal practice and 4 veterinary nurses. One of our vets is a surgery certificate holder and another vet is working towards her own surgery certificate. Where we can, we like to support local village events - including judging of the local dog show most recently! The ideal candidate will be keen to develop strong relationships and continuity with clients and their pets whilst providing high level of patient care. This role could fully support a new/recent graduate with excellent communication skills
Applicant Requirements
We could support a new or recent graduate or a vet with experience. Excellent communication skills with a kind, caring and approachable manner. Full driving licence and access to vehicle preferred as we do offer home visits.
