Chipping Norton, Begbroke Veterinary Surgery
Salary up to £63,000 depending on experience
Chipping Norton are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Vet who is confident with sole charge. The role consists of a range of consulting and surgery, duties would also include being part of the successful running of the clinic. You will also be responsible for driving clinical standards and client and patient care.
The rota
This is a full-time permanent role working 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am-6:00pm at our Begbroke Branch. One day (Wednesday) 8.30am -7pm will be at our main hospital in Chipping Norton. There will be 1 in 2 Saturday shifts from 9:00am-1:00pm with no on call.

Whether you need to do the school pick up, need reduced hours during school holidays or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern we can fix or flex our patterns to suit your needs.

Begbroke Veterinary Surgery opened in January 2020 and is a new division of Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital, providing consultations and routine diagnostics and surgery. We currently have 2 consultation rooms, x-ray, theatre, and dentistry equipment. Lovely location with easy access to Oxford.

Our team consists of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, an Animal Nursing Assistant and Receptionist.
Among our Vets are a Specialist in Zoo & Wildlife Medicine, and Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Medicine and ECC. Plus, we have regular visits to the main hospital from a referral dermatologist. We receive referrals nationally for exotic pets and for radioiodine therapy of hyperthyroid cats and locally for outpatient CT scanning, and for some internal medicine and orthopaedic-surgery cases.
