We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our multi vet Medivet Carterton team. Joining our professional, personable teams in the practices, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
The role is suitable for early careers and experienced candidates, the teams are focused on providing high standards of care whilst maintaining a progressive and supportive work environment.
We operate within a hub and spoke model, ensuring patients and clients receive access to 24 hr care to support on cases and personal development of all our staff.

We have established practices across Oxfordshire who are a social and welcoming team.
Renovations are planned for the practices and we have ultrasound at Wantage. you will be working with a multi vet team and a supportive teams of nurses, PCA's and client care assistants.
Carterton is lead by experienced Branch Partner Will who does laparoscopic and orthopaedic surgeries. The practice has excellent facilities including 3 consults rooms, 2 theatres, large double prep area, isolation ward, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas.
The practice has air conditioning, a garden and staff parking and is located near local amenities including cafes and supermarkets.
