A Vet Surgeon role that you can make your own
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to work between all three of our sites, you’ll be spending most of your time at our Haworth branch. We can offer a well-balanced caseload between surgery and medicine. We can weight your caseload towards your own clinical interests and we’re happy to offer financial support towards further certificate study. You’ll be in an environment that ensures your Professional and personal development. If you are a passionate vet surgeon and would like the opportunity to work up your own caseload plus be able to carry out many of the procedures in-house this could be the perfect role for you.

A typical full-time role would involve working 40 hours per week over 4 weekdays along with our 1:4 Saturday rota. There’s no out-of-hours or on-call required!
About us
Gatehouse Vets is a wonderful three site group. We have fantastic facilities such as digital x-ray, in house lab equipment, dental x-ray, operating theatre, prep cat ward and dog kennels. We are a training practice, and all our surgeries are part of the practice standards scheme, achieving outstanding awards. Our practices are well-equipped, and we boast an individual species wards. We are big on personal development and currently have a Veterinary Surgeon with a certificate in feline medicine and another with a fear Free certificate. We fully encourage development and can offer certificate support. Our experienced nursing team also boast certificates in Emergency and Critical Care, Advanced Feline Nursing, Dentals and Exotics.

Haworth is a charming small village located in the Pennine hills of West Yorkshire, whilst still being well connected to city life with direct transport links to Bradford Leeds and Manchester.
