Veterinary Surgeon

About us
We are conveniently located on the edge of the Peak District, close to Sheffield, major road networks and public transport links.
Veterinary Surgeon and Partner, Paul Meiring, has been running Ravenside Chesterfield Vets4Pets for 17 years. The surgery currently consists of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses and 5 Client Care Advisors.
The practice has an expanding, loyal client base and the practice is purpose built with state-of-the-art equipment.
What we can offer
Salary from £40,000 per annum (DOE, FTE)
Visa and Sponsorship support if required
Payment of RCVS, BVA and VDS fees
Strong CPD allowance
20% colleague discount at Pets at Home and the Vet Group as well as other discounts
No OOHs
Weekends working Saturday & Sunday on a 1 in 4 basis with time off in lieu.
Working hours until 7pm every night
Rolling rota for surgery days and consulting days
A busy surgery with an interesting and varied caseload
About you
You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with innovative ideas, passion, and energy.
The successful candidate should have great communication and organisation skills and takes pride in working to a high standard.
You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals.
