Description


Drive the delivery of the marketing and business strategies with stylised and engaging video and digital content, which support our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities


  • Creation of engaging and high-quality content related to the Scotland National Teams, The Scottish Cup and the Scottish Football Association itself.

  • Produce multimedia content ensuring that it appeals to key target audiences and maximises user experience on our digital platforms.
  • Support the department with new content ideas which will appeal to a wide and diverse audience.

  • Self-shoot interviews and features which bring to life the work of the Scottish FA ensuring that it drives engagement with our target audiences.

  • Shoot and/or edit highlights packages, promotional trailers and features, creative montages, and marketing related content for a range of digital platforms.
  • Create graphics and effects in accordance with overall production concepts.

  • Maintain a standard of video production that ensures all content is filmed correctly with consistency of lighting, branding, audio, styling and presentation.

  • Export edits in appropriate formats for web/social use.
  • Champion alternative content and tools that increase engagement and provide a unique user experience.
  • Assist in management and organisation of Scottish FA archive content.

  • Any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


  • Ability to use and maintain video broadcast equipment including camera, light and audio kit.
  • Proficient with MS Office packages
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisation, planning and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to time manage, prioritise and deliver projects to a brief.
  • Good communicator
  • Self-motivated with the confidence and ability to generate and present content and campaign ideas.
  • Takes ownership of projects with professional delivery.
  • Creative individual with the ability to come up with new ideas.
  • Plans, organises and prioritises workload to ensure timely delivery to agreed standard and timelines.
  • Thorough and precise, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional, is able to approach the role with the same high standard, regardless of the high-profile nature of events or personnel.
  • Happy to work out of comfort zone with big personalities.
  • Flexibility to work unsociable hours and weekends.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel for work.
