Advocate- Sheffield Virtual School.
Sheffield City Council is looking for a permanent , Virtual School Advocate.The Advocate will work within the Virtual School, to promote the educational achievement of our Children Looked After. Post Looked After and Children with a Social Worker
The successful candidate will need experience of working with vulnerable learners and children with SEND. The advocate will work closely with colleagues across schools, SEND, Admissions, social services as well as other relevant partners across Children's Services and beyond, to support our children looked after. They will hold a caseload of Children Looked After

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
