Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is a renowned 180-acre garden and plant collection located near Romsey. As a member of our friendly team, you will work at the reception and ticket desk in our Visitor Pavilion.
To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in front-line customer service and sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong aptitude for working with people. You should also possess good IT and numeracy skills and a willingness to contribute to an environmentally focused organization.
As one of the Visitor Services Supervisors, you will oversee a small group of Visitor Services staff who provide key services such as information and membership sales. Your daily duties will involve supervising the visitor centre, which serves as a hub for various facilities, activities, and events. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing cash handling, banking, and report production.
You should have prior experience in reception work and be an effective communicator with good IT skills. Additionally, you must have an understanding of current Health and Safety procedures and be willing to undergo appropriate training.
