This is an exciting time to join our growing team as a Visitor Services Assistant!

Alton Water Park is the perfect place to enjoy time outdoors, welcoming visitors who come to relax from their daily hustle and bustle or just catch up with friends and family while walking around the park. Offering a range of activities ranging from mini golf, Watersports, a beach, a 8 -mile cycling/walking trail Nature Reserves and café's

We are looking for friendly, customer focused people to support across the various areas of the Water Park including working in the visitor centres, the Watersports Centre and Cafes , campsite as needed.

In the varied role one day will never be the same as the next you could be helping in our cafes on one day and helping on the campsite the next ! The ideal candidate will love all that Alton Water has to offer be friendly, positive and willing to get stuck into any of our activities!

You will be providing a high level of customer service to our many visitors, making their day enjoyable by assisting them with knowledge of our products, promotion of our services and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

What does it take to be a Visitor Services Assistant?

• Be customer focused and friendly

• Have a love for Alton Water, the outdoors and all our activities!

• Be willing to work weekends and bank holidays on a regular basis

• Be flexible and willing to learn

• Promote the Anglian Water brand and water parks.

• Support the park team to uphold and sustain park accreditations - e.g. Green Flag & VAQUS

• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in line with facility specifics

• Provide assistance to all aspects of park facilities, operations & events

• Uphold personal and park presentation standards.

• Ensure correct operation of the till, retail systems and park technology

• Assist with cash collections and movement of money around the parks

• Proficient with MS Office applications
