Form of workWe are looking to speak with experienced Voice Engineers (VOIP Engineers) on behalf of a prestigious client based in Scotland.
You will be part of a team working on a major IT Programme, developing, supporting and maintaining Voice Networks and connections (internal and external) and links to video capability.
The initial duration of the contract is 12 months with potential for extension, providing much needed job stability through current uncertain times. You will be working hybridly - only 2 days/week in the office and 3 days/week remote, allowing you to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.Competitive market rate on offer, recognising your experience and contribution.
Due to the sensitive nature of the project, details need to remain confidential at this stage and will be further discussed with candidates during the initial phone interview.
Essential skills and experience
- Solid experience as a Voice Engineer with a focus on SIP, voice gateways, and SBCs.
- In-depth knowledge of SIP signalling, media flows, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with voice gateway configuration and management.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
Please note that active/current SC clearance and UK nationality are needed for this role.
