VolunteerCoordinator (16 hours)
Wehave an exciting internal opportunity to work coordinating ourvolunteers to support those who experience Domestic Abuse (DA), in avariety of roles.With Senior Managers and Trustees you will maintain and develop ahigh-quality volunteer schemethat meets the needs of both MK-Act clients and the organisation.Managingall elements of volunteering within MK-Act you will be assessing andmeeting MK-Act’s needs through the recruitment, placement andretention of volunteers.Youwill manage volunteers and the relationships with those they comeinto contact with, including employees and clients of MK-Act. Youwill also monitor and evaluate their work and youwill work closely to maintain effective partnerships between MK-ACTand a wide range of statutory, voluntary and private sectororganisations in Milton Keynes, to improve the coordinated communityresponse to DA. You will be joining our caring, strong andhardworking team.
Salaryscale: £10,874
Hours:16hours per week
WorkPattern:TBA, but may require some evening and weekend work.
Youwill be based across the MK-Act Offices within Milton Keynes
Werequire a Volunteer Coordinator who is flexible, has a broadknowledge of DVA and experience of working with volunteers in amanagement position. You will have experience of recruiting,training and accrediting volunteers working in line with anorganisations business plan to ensure the needs of our clients andthe organisation are met. We are a mutually supportive organisationand in coordinating the volunteers you will be upholding andreflecting this with the volunteers.
