Our client, based in Cardiff, is currently recruiting for a Volunteer Coordinator on a 2-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience training members of staff, is motivated to attract and inspire new volunteers.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Being responsible for the recruitment, selection, induction and training of volunteers including DBS checks
Maintaining an up-to-date portfolio of volunteering and engagement opportunities
Ensuring all volunteer role profiles are up to date
Co-ordinating volunteer recruitment drives – thinking creatively about how we can attract volunteers
Managing any volunteering initiatives/adverts on thier social media pages
Undertaking awareness-raising and promotional activities to electively publicise and promote the volunteer programme to a diverse audience.

35 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
