Main Responsibilities
Work in partnership with the Director of Operations to ensure all those accessing the service
receive a professional and coordinated response, with up to date, relevant advice and
information.
Lead the recruitment of suitable volunteers in line with SACMHA’s Volunteers policy and
procedures.
Lead on all aspects of the day to day administration and supervision of the SACMHA team of
volunteers and their activities, developing and inspiring them to develop best possible practice to
meet the needs of our beneficiaries accessing the services
Share knowledge and skills to enhance the professional development of all volunteers.
Celebrate volunteer success. Manage any capability issues swiftly and with professionalism.
Ensure volunteers attend team meetings where appropriate, in order to maintain good
communication within the service and to provide a forum to share concerns, experience and skills
Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns
Attend and actively participate in team meetings and other meetings as required by the
Director of Operations.
Support the Director of Operations in planning, monitoring and reviewing the development of
the service in line with identified priorities, targets and outcomes.
Track, collate and report target data for performance monitoring reviews as requested by the
Director of Operations.
Implement revisions to service delivery as required.
