If this sounds like you, Moxie People is seeking a permanent Vulnerable Families Team Lead (Nights) on behalf of a leading housing service in Cardiff.

Role Highlights:

  • Salary: £34,070 per annum
  • Location: Cardiff
  • Hours: 36 per week on average
  • Shifts: 4 on, 4 off (waking night shifts: 8pm-6am or 9pm-7am)

Your day-to-day:

  • Oversee night operations to ensure a safe and secure environment in a 26 bed property.
  • Lead and motivate a team of 4 night staff to deliver excellent support services.
  • Be proactive in organising events to engage residents and create a community, including movie nights, pizza nights, cooking classes, bingo etc.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and manage crisis situations with confidence.
  • Take the lead on managing child protection issues, safeguarding concerns, resident disputes, substance use issues and domestic abuse.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders across the organisation to maintain seamless operations.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in supported housing or a similar field, working with vulnerable people or those in crisis.
  • Supervisory or line management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience with safeguarding and child protection.
  • Knowledge and an appreciation of Restorative Practice and Psychological Informed Environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be calm in crisis.
