London’s most famous sando is back and has new friends!
Tóu (by the team behind TĀ TĀ Eatery and Solis) is opening a new restaurant in Borough Market in March and is looking for waiters to join the team. At the new burger, sando and pet nat concept you will be responsible for serving and delivering a great experience to each and every customer.
TĀ TĀ Eatery is by award-winning chefs Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, famous for brands like Tóu at Arcade and latest Solis st Arcade Battersea.
We are looking for a candidate that is able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst demonstrating attention to detail.
What we need from you:
- Greet and welcome customers in a professional and casual manner
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised front end area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines
- Assist with wine recommendations and service when required
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fast casual restaurants
- Passion for wine and food with some wine knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fantastic personality, and the ability to work well in a small team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a busy service environment
- Reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
