Job Title: Ward Clerk
Location: Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5LT
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday - Friday 6 hours per day start and finish times are negotiable)

What you’ll be responsible for:
- To meet and greet all patients/visitors to the ward and allow access via any electronic entry system.
- Answering the telephone promptly, taking messages/action and re-directing calls as necessary.
- Data entry in respect of all attendances outside clinic/telephone consultations.
- Using the CaMIS Tracker system, locating, requesting and collection of patient’s case notes for planned and unplanned admissions.
- Maintaining an up-to-date location status for the patient’s case notes, using the tracker system, throughout the patient’s stay.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- System Knowledge: Camis Ifit, K2 Medisec (Desirable but not essential)
- Proven track record of administration background
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to multi task and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
