SalaryWarehouse/ Account Manager Required. Streamline Search are currently working with an established and market leading logistics company based in the Chipping Warden area. They are looking for a senior logistics professional to join their team, where they will manage and develop a key contract and manage storage facilities and their staff.
(Warehouse/ Account Manager) - Position Overview
- Manage and develop the Company's distribution contracts.
- Oversee the storage of client stock, ensuring a safe and secure environment in compliance with client strategy, policies, and standards.
- Maintain alignment with client requirements for service delivery, upholding both the companies and the client's reputation.
- Manage client tenancy, including areas occupied by their staff or contractors, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and site rules.
- Create systems to drive down waste and improve performance.
- Review warehouse performance and costs continually to ensure satisfaction and performance, making changes and recommendations as necessary to achieve client's required budgeted results within the business strategy.
- Visits to client and company sites in the Midlands, Northamptonshire, East Anglia, and surrounding areas.
(Warehouse/ Account Manager) - Position Requirements
- A proven track record of managing warehouse operations.
- Previous success in managing distribution contracts, particularly with a focus on cost efficiency and service performance.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site rules.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with clients, visitors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to align strategies and policies to meet client and company objectives.
- Knowledge of vehicle handling and transport.
- At least 5 year's experience in a supervisory capacity.
(Warehouse/ Account Manager) - Position Remuneration
- Salary: 40,000.00 - 42,500.00 Dependant on experience.
- Car Allowance: 3,000.00 per annum.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
- Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday)
