Warehouse/Logistics Manager
Barnstaple based with occasional travel to an additional site in Berkshire.
SALARY £35k to £40k

What is the purpose of the Warehouse and Operations Manager?
The Warehouse / Logistics Manager will also be part of the Operational Managers team and oversee Warehouse Operations. You will managing all Logistic activities covering warehousing, distribution, dispatch and transport . Leading H&S activities' at both sites and be responsible for all facilities management related to the building maintenance schedule. This also includes managing the daily workings of the warehouse staff and support other areas of the business; purchasing, sales, accounts and general administration.
What you will do as the Warehouse and Logistics Manager:
* Responsible for managing all Logistics.
* Provide motivation, development and performance reviews for reporting staff.
* To manage the process for customers orders and arrange deliveries and collections through operational logistics.
* Transport planning and drivers routing.
* Time management.
* Work closely with other departments.
* Manage the company's O license and drivers compliance requirements.
* To oversee various company internal checks and compliance standards.
* To assist with various third party support services for the client.
What skills and experience will you need to be the Warehouse and Operations Manager?
* Previous experience running a busy warehouse; including stocktaking, goods in/out, H&S, COSHH or IOSHH
* Ideally be from a distribution background
* Have managed various teams; recruitment, retention including training, disciplinaries
* Have experience of Transport regulations; servicing, inspection, & compliance, and O licence.
* Budget control.

What will the Warehouse an Logistics Manager get in return?
* Salary of £35,000.00 - £40,000.00 dependant on experience
* 23 days paid annual leave increasing to 28 days after 6 full years of continuous service.
