We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Transport Team Leader. As a Team Leader in our fast-paced warehousing environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and timely operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team and managing the transportation logistics to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
Responsibilities
Planning and organizing resources (people and vehicles) to ensure products are delivered efficiently to patients within agreed timescales and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, health & safety laws, and industry standards
Co-ordinates the efficient and fair day-to-day running of the operation with the warehouse operatives and PSOs
Follows the goods-in process and procedures, ensuring accurate receipt and storage of deliveries
Picks items efficiently and accurately in line with patient prescriptions and Completes the packing of prescription treatments
Follows all internal procedures, regulatory and health and safety guidelines, to ensure the highest of standards for patients
Providing leadership and guidance to team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring and managing performance

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
