This is an important role in which you will:
- Work as part of a team based in our large warehouse in our HMS site in Liverpool that controls, manages and delivers construction and maintenance materials to the company’s many customers, who rely on us to fix and repair their homes.
- Maintain the highest standards of customer care and service delivery ensuring they are met through effective organisation, commitment and effectiveness.
- Coordinate material arrangements, to provide an effective stock service to the operational teams.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Ensure the preparation and collection of stock materials by proactively ensuring materials are organised ready for collection or delivery
- Prepare all necessary documentation is processed in line with warehouse internal operational procedures and processes including raising purchase orders, goods receipting, stock issues & stock returns, stock transfers, and any supplier or invoicing issues.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager and Stock Processing assistant in reviewing the nature of stock requirements on a seasonal and continual basis.
- Answer telephone queries, photocopying, scanning and assisting with daily routine tasks.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding the delivery of materials and queries that may arise, aiming to achieve effective resolution.
- Check purchase orders are processed and goods receipting for invoice in line with financial regulations.
- Support the management of warehouse deliveries from suppliers ensuring they are processed, and quality assessed in line with warehouse operational procedures and stored safely in designated areas.
- Support with managing the warehouse mailbox and emailing responses timely for delivery and collection of products to customers and its suppliers sites at various locations.
- Ideally have your fork lift truck licence or be committed to learn and achieve this with our support.
