Warehouse Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and maintain transportation management systems for inbound and outbound logistics
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety regulations
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems for inventory tracking and reporting
- Support supply chain activities by coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams

Skills:
- Proficiency in warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to streamline processes
- Experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
