We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail and is comfortable working in an environment that handles delicate goods. The successful candidate will not only be involved in the physical aspects of warehouse operations but will also undertake administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the receipt, storage, and dispatch of delicate goods, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards of warehouse organisation.
- Process orders and manage packing and shipping procedures.
- Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Comfortable with physical work and able to lift and move delicate items carefully.
- Proficient in using computers for data entry and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
