Working Hours:Part Time 30h/week Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
Location: Essex Rd, Hoddesdon EN11 0BX
Our Sales Advisors are focussed on driving and supporting sales in branch as well as demonstrating great Customer Service. You'll be the face (and voice!) of the business, often the first point of contact a customer has with us. You'll chat with customers throughout the day, both on the phone and in branch, helping them find the materials they need for their projects and converting these into orders as well as building trust and lasting relationships with regular and new customers.
Key Responsibilities of a Sales Advisor:
Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
Dealing with lapsed accounts and generating sales with new and existing customers
Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
Keep the branch and looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
Experience in a customer facing/sales environment
Passion for working with people
Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
