What is the role?
An important role within the Warehouse & Distribution Team. You will be responsible for collating, packing and shipping web orders, maintenance of the stockrooms, checking received stock from incoming deliveries and collating stock for the store. Working closely with the buying team and customer services department, you must ensure orders are collated as accurately as possible and time-managed throughout the day.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Collate and pack web and telephone orders
- Ensure products are packed carefully and professionally ensuring safe passage to the customer and presenting a professional image
- Inform the Customer Service team of any out of stocks
- Ensure any backorders are processed properly and promptly
- Receiving and checking deliveries, distributing stock to the correct location
- Inform the Buying team of any discrepancies in deliveries
- Keep orders on the system up to date
- Allocate and label areas in the stock room for new and existing products
- Keeping the stock and packing rooms tidy and organised
- Collating stock for the shop floor & assisting with stock replenishment
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when requested
- Participate in annual stocktakes
