Dynamic Warehouse Operative Needed!

Key Responsibilities:

Efficient Operations Management:

  • Handle the dispatch and return of raw materials, ensuring they reach the factory on time.
  • Receive incoming goods with precision, following delivery schedules and maintaining safe loading and unloading procedures.
  • Take charge of storing and distributing materials and finished goods, always adhering to approved procedures.
  • Keep meticulous records and execute system transactions to maintain precise control over warehouse operations.
  • Actively participate in inventory cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy, promptly addressing any discrepancies.

Commitment to Quality:

  • Uphold high standards for inventory accuracy, quality, and service in the warehouse and yard, in line with company norms.

Equipment and Workplace Excellence:

  • Maximize warehouse efficiency while ensuring storage facilities and equipment are well-maintained.
  • Foster a culture of organization and efficiency in the workplace, following Lean practices.

Safety, Health & Environment:

  • Adhere to site HSE standards and protocols, promptly reporting any concerns to management.
  • Follow all policies and procedures for accident prevention and control.
  • Proactively contribute warehouse knowledge to enhance HSE performance and ensure a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Plant Leader and team members to implement effective working practices, including Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking ways to enhance operations.
  • Participate in required training and development activities to stay updated in assigned areas.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities.
