Position Overview: To provide an excellent customer experience at the Parts Collection Point for customers and Service Engineers, by focusing on quality and efficiency to meet agreed service levels.

Major Job Functions
Work with warehouse to ensure inspected cores are packed and at least one shipment processed a week back to CAT. Work with branches to ensure customer(s) return cores in allotted time. Working flexibly to ensure adequate coverage is provided. Work co-operatively with the Engineers and Service Supervisor. Resolve any customer delivery queries between the sales and supply to maintain positive customer relationships. Carry out all parts operations duties as required either as coverage or part of a rota in line with the requirements of the business. Provide coverage at other regional collection points as required.
Utilise CMIS reports to understand why credits not paid and create best practice. Raise claims (CAT, Branch) for parts receipted. Process customer credits for returns if appropriate for the "Collection Point". Collection of payments from cash sale customers, handling and management of the petty cash/banking.
Organise and consolidate all orders to ensure customer leaves with a complete accurate order in a timely manner. Ensure customer requirements are met by using sales channels/tools available.
Manage backorders for outstanding orders - liaising with salesperson/parts supply chain. Ensure deliveries to the collection point are available for collection to field-based engineers and customers within agreed service levels.
Ensure all returns are inspected and processed in accordance with Finning UK returns policy, working with the warehouse to ensure returns are put away and receipted within 24 hours of inspection. Ensure RRR is maximised to return all unwanted parts back to CAT. Manage outstanding returns liaising with customer and sales person who authorised return.

Ensure all cores returned are inspected in accordance with CAT guidelines to ensure maximum credit. Take personal responsibility to meet all 'one to one' objectives. Actively promote "Parts Direct" and sales channels to customers using the collection point. Loading and unloading of freight using correct MHE and following correct safe handling procedures. Active involvement in the improvement and maintenance of the working areas and the "Collection Point" following 5S and Contamination Control procedures. Constant awareness of SHEQ obligations. Maintain commitments to "Our Promise". Banking and Petty Cash reconciliation. Respond to any customer delivery queries within 1 hour.
Education and Experience
Good level of education
Warehouse experience
MHE Licences
Excellent customer service experience - preferably customer facing
Demonstrable experience in remote working
Warehouse/Logistic qualification (desirable)
This is a 12 month Fixed term position
