The role
The Equipment Co-ordinator is responsible for working with the Equipment and Cylinders Co-Ordinator, Field Projects Co-ordinator(s) and Workshop team to fulfil the provision of equipment, cylinders and related consumables to meet client needs.
Key accountabilities
• Administering rental stock fleet to optimise usage in accordance with both approved method and client requirements.
• Ensuring incoming work is handled appropriately and registered accurately into company databases, maintaining maintenance schedules, client repairs and calibrations.
• Ensuring all incoming rental equipment are within mandatory certification and maintaining all records.
• Ensuring only necessary paperwork is generated for each job, ensuring pre-approval obtained from clients for third party work carried out and being billed for, liaising with the procurement and billing teams to ensure POs are managed.
• Deliver high standards of customer relations and service, seeking continuous improvement in a drive for excellence and be a positive company representative to customers.
• Understanding of the forecasting of commercial income against budget targets
• First line preparation of quotes and supporting other service lines in terms of issuing integrated quotes where there are multiple elements to the quote across other offerings.
• Identification of opportunities and ability to “upsell”.
• Ensure that all protocols from client request to billing is integrated within the upgraded LIMS System.
• Supporting development and maintenance of client report.
Skills & experience
• HND or degree or equivalent work experience in relevant subject area (Preferred)
• Maths, English and a Science related subject and National 5 or equivalent level
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proven ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels in a professional manner at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Willing to be “hands on” working at all levels
• Good time management and an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• IT literate to include good level of skills in MS Office software and database use
