We are seeking a dedicated Goods-In Assistant to join our warehouse team. The role involves assisting with day-to-day warehouse duties under the guidance of the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and the Goods In Team Leader. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-player mindset.
Day to day of the role:- Loading and unloading lorries/containers efficiently and safely.
- Receiving materials into the warehouse, ensuring accurate checks on quantity and quality before storage.
- Efficiently moving goods within and around the warehouse to their designated areas.
- Assisting with daily cycle checks and contributing to the end-of-year stock take.
- Palletising and wrapping finished Goods In preparation for dispatch.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and completing in-house training.
- Valid Driving License.
- Previous experience in Goods-In or warehousing roles.
- Forklift (Counterbalance) certification is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with Sage 200 or other stock management software is a plus.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.
- Awareness of Health and Safety practices in a warehouse environment.
