Form of workSF Recruitment are supporting a leading retailer in recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join on a permanent basis.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory management, and a safe and productive work environment for the team.
The Role:
·-As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of inventory control, including goods in, goods out, picking, loading and dispatching items.
· Lead and motivate a team of operatives to ensure performance meets expectation, to include daily briefings and communication/management of rotas including holidays/sicknesses, etc.
· Overseeing the end-to-end reverse logistics operation - checking goods, completing paperwork, reporting damages and discrepancies and liaising with the Admin department.
· Identifying and actioning efficient improvements to warehouse processes.
· Implement and enforce health & safety procedures within the warehouse, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly statutory H&S inspections are completed, and staff are aware and compliant.
· Ensure company warehouse assets are controlled and accounted for
· Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and prevented.
· Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements, utilising the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Liaising with the Management team and other necessary departments such as the Transport Admin Office and Logistics, to ensure smooth fulfilment and distribution of orders.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Warehouse Manager, you will have the following:
-Minimum of three years experience as a Warehouse Manager.
-Understanding on Health & Safety regulations.
· Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to build and empower a team.
-Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
-Experience with WMS systems.
