We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead a high-technology electronics warehouse. As a key member of the team, you will oversee the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring optimal productivity and maintaining a well-organised and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership: Collaborate with a supervisor and lead a team of 6+ warehouse staff. Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
High-Tech Warehouse Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of a specialised electronics warehouse. This includes overseeing goods in, storage, and dispatch operations.
Organizational Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to manage a warehouse separate from the main building. Ensure efficient layout and workflow to optimise productivity.
Communication Skills: Possess outstanding communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Staff Utilisation: Effectively utilise and delegate tasks to the warehouse team, maximizing their potential and fostering a positive and motivated working atmosphere.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
Inventory Management: Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reporting.
Quality Control: Oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet the highest standards before dispatch.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce and uphold health and safety standards within the warehouse. Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the electronics or technology sector.
