HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5:30pm
SALARY: Up to 45K DOE
Office Angels has teamed up with their client to on board an Warehouse & Operations Manager to their growing team.
They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to supervise all warehouse activities.
About your new role:
- Uphold quality management systems to ensure compliance with Company standards, regulations, and quality.
- Manage shipments using the company's ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and customs requirements for import/export.
- Oversee all customs operations, processes, procedures, and protocols in accordance with relevant compliance and legislation.
- Resolve import/export shipping queries and issues.
- Obtain, audit, and process Import/Export entry data while accurately recognising and logging errors.
- Maintain control over all stores, logistics, clearance, quality, and customs-related documentation, records, inboxes, and communications.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff (including recruitment, training, and performance management, to ensure efficient operations)
- Implement safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Monitor and analyse costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Negotiate rates with logistics providers.
- Track warehouse performance using KPIs to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement measures to streamline operations.
About you:
- Experience in operations management
- Experience overseeing a team in a Warehouse environment.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on optimising warehouse operation is desirable.
- Knowledge of Export and Import procedures, controls, regulations, legislation and compliance highly desirable.
- Strong organisation, time management and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Excellent Customer Service and Administration skills.
