Management Accountant

We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to work for our client in Leicester, to be part of an existing team and you will have the flexibility on hours, as the Senior Finance Officer you will report directly into the CEO and manage another team member

As the Management Accountant you will be working with the Operations Manager and Treasurer as appropriate to provide the following although this isn't the full spec this is just a snippet

Financial reporting:

• Preparing timely and accurate reporting of monthly management accounts to the Board and CEO as appropriate, investigating variances, correcting errors where necessary and with the support of the CEO, provide explanations on departures from budget
• Ensure the provision of financial monitoring information required by our partners is provided on time and as requested.
• Arrears: run regular reports on loan interest
• Prepare financial reports such as trial balances, annual and quarterly accounts for submission to funding and regulatory bodies

• Month, quarter and year end procedures

• Calculate all report provisions

Financial controls:

• Managing cash flow and liquidity and managing investments.
• Maintaining and monitoring purchase ledger, ensuring invoices are paid on a timely basis and in line with budget and cash flow requirements
• Oversee and assist with completion of financial performance analysis and budgeting including reporting in full to the Board as required.
• Manage the provision of the year-end accounts and liaise with the Auditor/Accountant and their team to ensure that all information requested by them is provided in a timely manner.
• Daily, month, quarter and year end processes and procedures

Risk and compliance:

• Identifying, monitor and reporting areas of financial risk
• Under the supervision of the operations manager, to carry out tasks around anti-money laundering regulations
• To support the needs of audit and supervisory processes

You must be ACCA or AAT qualified or part CIMA / fully qualified CIMA.
