As one of our Warehouse Operatives, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations of the ASM Logistics and Warehouse team. You’ll support the business by ensuring that all Warehouse related tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
Primary you will process and put away inbound goods onto racks and shelves and then pick orders and package these for forward transportation. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential skills.
Role and responsibilities:
- Processing goods In and placing these onto racks and shelves.
- Picking stock / order items from the warehouse.
- Packaging completed orders for forward transportation.
- Entering information into courier systems including any necessary customs paperwork.
- Processing reclaimed IT equipment, separating and palletising as per the material.
- Performing perpetual inventory counts.
- Assisting in periodic relay and product rotation exercises.
- Supporting in achieving the relevant housekeeping standard for the team and this is maintained as best practice.
- Contributing to process improvement and continuous improvement plan for the Warehouse and Logistics team.
- Ensuring warehouse KPI criteria are met and exceeded.
Skills Required
- Picking and packing products can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.

- Flexible working approach to carry out varied tasks.
- Diligent and punctual.
- Comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 25kgs.
- Able to work on warehouse floor 8+ hours per day.
- Ability to read and comprehend English for safety reasons.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Computer literate
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to adhere to safe working practices.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) experience beneficial
- Knowledge of Microsoft products Excel, Word and PowerPoint
