Warehouse Operative

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative and assist with light production. The ideal candidate will be well organised, detail orientated and keen to develop new skills.

Main Role & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for day to day running of the Warehouse, ensuring there is adequate stock, all areas are kept tidy, checking in deliveries, and allocating appropriately.

Another key aspect of the role will be light production, building up smaller assemblies and kits for them to be picked/shipped as ordered. This position will also involve assisting with picking and packing/dispatch during busier periods and to cover when necessary.

You may also be required to collect items from local suppliers in the works vehicle.

This role can be physically demanding at times therefore the candidate must be able to handle the day-to-day use of equipment, tools and materials as well as able to lift/carry items safely and responsibly. A good general health and fitness level is required as this is an active role where you will spend much of the day on your feet and on the move.

Experience with pressure washers would be an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided. A forklift license would also be an advantage, but not essential.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving license (required)

· Live within a 45-minute commute

· Experience in a similar role

· Good communicator

· Team player

· Ability to use initiative

· Confident and able to work unsupervised

· Good time keeping and attendance

· Organised and efficient

Desirable (but not essential) Skills:

· Forklift licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £21,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
