Transport Operations Manager

Are you an experienced people manager with knowledge of passenger transport services in a rural area? If so, this role may be just what you are looking for.
We are seeking a resourceful, organised and resilient individual with excellent communication skills who can motivate a team, engage with a variety of stakeholders and effectively manage resource to deliver passenger transport services.
The role is responsible for the associated budgets and provision of education transport, public transport, SEND transport, ENCTs, community transport, social care transport, bus stop infrastructure, sustainable travel, BSIP & EP,road safety, travel behavior change and in-house fleet operation.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
Interviews will be held in person at the council offices w/c 26th February 2024. The exact date is to be confirmed.
