As a Warehouse Operative at GRAF UK Ltd you will be a key team member responsible for the efficient handling, building, storage, and dispatch of company products.
This role requires a proactive and diligent individual who can work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Forklift license and experience a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Dispatching Goods: Efficiently handle the receipt of stock and its storage, as well as the preparation and dispatch of orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Picking and Filling Orders: Accurately picking goods as per orders, preparing them for dispatch, and ensuring timely delivery.
Loading and Unloading of Delivery Vehicles: Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records to ensure accurate tracking of all items in the warehouse.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for any damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and hand trucks.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and organising the warehouse space effectively.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Aims & Objectives:
Ensure the highest levels of efficiency in the handling of stock.
Maintain accuracy in inventory management and order fulfilment.
Uphold safety standards in all warehouse operations.
Contribute to overall team performance and customer satisfaction.
Role Requirements:
Forklift License & Experience Essential
Long fork experience an advantage
Experience in a Warehouse Operative role or similar.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
A team player with excellent communication abilities.
Physically fit to handle manual tasks.
A commitment to health and safety standards.
