This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of our biggest Air freight Clients based in Hounslow/Heathrow.

Our client is looking for a Skilled Warehouse Team Member to join the team on a Permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing cargo, including loading, and unloading trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.

Receive, pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to established procedures and timelines. Ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and documentation.

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by organizing cargo, keeping aisles clear, and following proper storage practices.

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and conveyor systems safely and efficiently. Adhere to all safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures. Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo for damage, discrepancies, or defects. Report any issues to supervisors and take appropriate corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, customs requirements, and company policies. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.

Help customers and suppliers as needed, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Skills/capability

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills
• Operational process knowledge
• Previous X-ray/Air Cargo Screening experience an advantage
• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of Dangerous Goods (preferred)
• Good at establishing working relationships and developing personal contacts.
• Strong personal influencing and consultative skills
• Good analytical and commercial awareness
• No qualifications needed for the role.
• All training will be provided.

Shifts.

3 weekly rotating 10 hours shifts which include paid breaks.

Monday to Friday.

Week 1 08.00- 18.00pm

Week 2- 09.00- 19.00pm

Week 3- 10 00pm

Overtime will be required to meet operation needs (Fridays are typically a later finish)

Overtime paid at 1.25%.

28 days annual leave including bank holidays.

5 years reference check

DBS required.

Salary - GBP32k - GBP34k depending on experience.
