Streamline Search are actively working with a market leading storage and distribution company operating in Sevenoaks who are now looking for experienced warehouse staff to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience working within a warehouse and operating forklifts.
(Warehouse Operative) - Position Overview
- Conduct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and loading of stock.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to optimise productivity and minimise errors.
- Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Follow quality control measures to maintain the integrity of products during handling and storage.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, reporting any issues for timely repairs.
- Operating forklifts to move products as necessary.
(Warehouse Operative) - Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift license (Any type)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Computer literate (Able to use MS office package)
(Warehouse Operative) - Position Remuneration
- Salary £20,000.00 - £24,000.00 (Dependant on experience)
- Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
- 25 days + bank holidays
