Our client, based in Leeds specialise in branded men s fashion in big sizes and are well established in the menswear industry. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team. The successful applicant will also be required to help in the shop so any previous retail experience would be advantageous.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Picking and packing
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Working towards set daily productivity targets
- Moving and sorting parcels
- Labelling and re-labelling of items
- Following all aspects of our client s manual handling and safe working policies
- Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately
- Ensuring all paperwork is up to date
- Checking for damaged or missing items
Successful candidates will have:
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment essential
- Organisation and teamwork skills
- Good communication skills required to work in a team
