Requirements
We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our warehouse team at our Distribution Centre in Tankersley, South Yorkshire.
Someone who have strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work as part of a team within a busy chill (food) and ambient warehouse environment. Previous experience in warehouse environment maybe useful, however full training will be given. PPT Licence desirable.
Accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Checking Goods into the Warehouse when a delivery is unloaded
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking sorted stock to the appropriate storage space or arranging for the appropriate vehicle to move the stock
- Ensure that products are stored safely and labelled/disclaimed correctly and safely and Supervisor or Manager are advised of any items that are not correct
- Processing the product through various packing lines and processes ensure food safety
- The use of machines and equipment may be required to process the products- full training given
- Sorting, checking, weighing and labelling products
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and taking to the packing teams
- Place stock on pallets, ensuring it is then correctly wrapped and labelled ready for delivery to the stores
- Ensuring that all areas are kept to a high standard at all times
- Ensure all Health & Safety processes are followed at all times

Hours
Vacancy A 40 hours per week working 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday
Vacancy B 40 hours per week working 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30pm on a Sunday
Location – Company Shop Limited, Tankersley Distribution Centre, Wentworth Way, Wentworth Industrial Estate, Tankersley, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3DH
Rate of Pay – £11.50 per hour, paid on a four weekly basis.
