The role
As a Warehouse Operative you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We play a vital role in the security of the nation, supporting the equipment used by the British Army. This includes the fleet management of over 50,000 vehicles, ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks, and weapons from pistols to cannons.
Day to day, you'll support the delivery of combat engineering support services to the applicable training courses; including:-
- Transporting, erecting and dismantling of equipment;
- Sentry duties, watermanship safety
- Ensure that health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures are always implemented and complied with
- Comply with all quality assurance processes and procedures
- Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:
- Experience of Manual Handling
- Ability to swim
- Driving License *Desirable
- Team player
This role is full time, 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm Fridays (hours worked outside these hours areclassed as overtime.) Based onsite at Minley.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance level for this role.
